12.2. Body maintenance

Danger!
Before servicing the boiler, make sure both the boiler itself and its
components have cooled down.
Warnings
Never drain the water from the system, even partially, except if you really have to.
Check regularly the correct functioning and the condition of the smoke outlet duct and/or device.
In the case of work or maintenance on structures placed near the smoke ducts and/or smoke outlet devices
and their accessories, switch off the appliance and, when the work is complete, check its efficiency.
Do not clean the boiler and/or its parts with easily flammable products (such as petrol, alcohol, etc.).
Do not leave flammable containers in the room where the boiler is installed.
Do not clean the thermal power plant when the boiler is in operation.
At the end of every heating period, inspect the boiler in order to ensure the system is perfectly efficient.
Accurate maintenance always makes for savings and increased safety.
Important!
Use pigging equipment and aspirators for cleaning; if you use cloths,
make sure you retrieve them all.
