7.4.1.
The connection must be closed in order to start up the boiler.
Connect a thermostat with a clean contact. If using a storage tank connect the water thermostat. If the
system flows directly to the system connect a room thermostat.
DOMOTIC
The domotic contact is a clean contact that allows remote operation of the boiler on/ off switch ("B").
The domotic contact is sensitive to changes in the status of the clean contact and works in parrallel with the
the boiler on/ off switch ("B").
7.5.

Installing the pellet conveyor auger

The angle (between the auger axis and the horizontal plane) of tilt of the conveyor auger affects
productivity, i.e. the fuel flow rate obtained in the local conditions of the system installation. This is why the
operating mode of the burner may need to be adjusted after a variation in the tilt of the auger. The burner
adjustment is only performed by an authorised, trained technician.

Filling the pellet conveyor auger with fuel

7.5.1.
The pellet burner conveyor auger is initially empty (there is no fuel in the piping). The power supply plug
must be connected to the power supply, then the auger motor will operate continuously. Fill the pellet
hopper and wait until the pellets start to come out of the auger outlet aperture, then disconnect the auger
power supply and connect it to the female socket of the pellet burner (situated on the right side of the
burner), then turn on the "PRACTIKA" pellet boiler power supply.
7.6.

Connect the boiler control box to the power supply

Connect the power supply cable to the boiler and to the electricity mains.
EXPLANATIONS:
The first time the pellet burner is started up and when the contents of the pellet hopper are
exhausted, the auger must be filled with fuel. This step is explained and demonstrated to the end
user by an expert technician from the support network.
