12 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

DAILY OR WEEKLY CLEANING PERFORMED BY THE USER
BEFORE EACH IGNITION
Clean the ash and any deposits in the brazier that could clog the air passage holes. If the pellets in the hopper run out, unburned pellets
may accumulate in the brazier. Always empty the residue in the brazier before each start-up.
REMEMBER THAT ONLY A CORRECTLY POSITIONED AND CLEAN BRAZIER CAN GUARANTEE IGNITION AND OPTIMAL
OPERATION OF YOUR PELLET FUELLED BOILER.
In order to clean the brazier properly, remove it from its housing completely and thoroughly clean all the holes.
After a long period of inactivity, use a vacuum cleaner with long tube to remove any traces of pellets in the hopper that
could have absorbed humidity and are no longer suitable for combustion.
CHECKS TO BE PERFORMED EVERY 2/3 DAYS
Clean compartment around brazier to remove any ash, being careful of hot ash.
You may only use a vacuum cleaner to remove ash when it is completely cold. Use a drum-type vacuum cleaner that is suitable for
picking up particles of a certain size. The quality of the pellets used and user experience will determine the cleaning frequency required.
It is nevertheless recommended that you do not go more than 2 or 3 days without cleaning.
