14) Maintenance:
14.1) Maintenance schedule:
WARNING:
1) Maintenance on engines and systerns requires special knowledge and tools. rt is therefore
rccommended to have these works performed by authorized service centers or dealers.
2) Disconnect spark plug leads with a tuming motion for all maintenance and inspecrion
procedues.
3) Putting spa* plug connector back on, make sure that spark plug teminal is ighr on
plu8.
Service times are based on average use, ilssatming engine is run at least once per *,eek for a
normal duty cycle or average flight. Total Linre b€fore teardown is derermined by the fiequen_
cy alld conditions ofusage. Ifthe engine i s not going to be u sed for a period of Z months or more,
consult storage ptocedrres in this section.
AJter initial break-in period certain irspections and checks must be made to ensure all
components and settings have rcmained tight and are within the specified tolerance. Failurc
to do so could lead to ptematurc engine failurc.
