Operational Mode

You can configure and view the following parameters within the Operational Mode screen.
Operational Mode: the mode of communication between the wireless clients and the Access Point:
802.11b only
802.11g only
802.11bg
802.11a (default)
802.11g-wifi (Although this is a valid option, the .11g AP Card is not Wi-Fi certified.)
TX Power Control
The TX Power Control feature lets the user configure the transmit power level of the card in the AP at one of four
levels:
100% of the maximum transmit power level of the card
50%
25%
12.5%
NOTE
TX Power Control is only supported on the HP ProCurve Wireless 802.11g AP Card 170wl.
Configuring TX Power Control
1. Click Configure > Interfaces > Operational Mode.
2. Select Enable Transmit Power Control.
3. Select the transmit power level for interface A from the Wireless-A: Transmit Power Level drop-down menu.Select
the transmit power level for interface B from the Wireless-B: Transmit Power Level drop-down menu.
4. Click OK.
