Hydraulic motor is too hot /
Hydraulic motor switches to
50% power output.
Cause
The motor has overheated. For-
eign bodies have possibly
jammed between the side brush
and shaft (e.g. tape and such).
Foreign bodies (e.g. tape or
such) block the side scrubbing
brush.
Foreign bodies between the side
scrubbing unit and machine.
• Foreign bodies between the
squeegee and vehicle.
• Squeegee is jammed.
• Engine is overloaded, possibly
after driving up slopes.
• Parking brake was actuated
while driving.
Solution
• Check the side scrubbing brush for for-
eign bodies and remove them, as neces-
sary.
• Allow the motor to cool down.
• If the problem reoccurs, determine the
cause of overheating; contact an autho-
rized Hako service center, if necessary.
Check the side scrubbing brush for foreign
bodies and remove them, as necessary.
Check the side scrubbing unit for foreign
bodies and remove them, as necessary.
• Check the squeegee attachment for for-
eign bodies and remove them, as neces-
sary.
• Free the squeegee.
• Allow the motor to cool down.
• Check whether the parking brake is ap-
plied and release it, if necessary.
