STORE option, activated by pressing the soft
button F2.

SOFTWARE RELEASE

Pressing the RESTORE button, F2, opens the
Edit Restore main display showing information
regarding the version of the current Software
Release installed in the instrument.
Should the instrument show signs of malfunction
or need repair, etc., you might be asked by your
local authorised Generalmusic technical assist-
ance centre to provide information regarding the
software version, in order to check that your in-
strument is not operating with an old operating
system.
Edit Restore options column
RESTORE OPTIONS
The Restore options, listed in the right column,
offer several dedicated Restore functions, useful
to reset part of all the instrument's RAM.
All user-programmed data (Presets, User Styles,
Songs, Preset-Sounds, Sounds) can be can-
celled, either as an individual block (Presets,
Style-Presets, User Styles, Songs, Sounds) or
entirely (All) by means of a single command.
Cancelling user programmed data from memory
restores the instrument's original default param-
eter status.
For example, if you use the Restore Preset com-
mand, you will cancel all user-programmed Pre-
sets and restore the original factory settings.
BATTERY CHECK
This option shows the charge level of the re-
chargeable backing battery.
Press F1 once to show the battery charge level:
If the battery charge level is low, leave the instru-
ment turned on for at least 15 hours to recharge
the battery completely.
WARNING: use the RESTORE commands with cau-
tion because user-programmed data is irremediably
lost. Make sure that you have saved any data you
so not wish to cancel to disk or Hard disk before pro-
ceeding with a restore operation.
