Record the time.
2. Ask the operator to load the operating system and tum on the
Error Log. The command to turn on the Error Log is:
/usr/lib/errdemon
3. Ask the operator to run the failing application program.
4. After a failure occurs, ask the operator to print a Summary
Report of the permanent errors starting at the time you
recorded. The command is (where MMddhhmmyy is month,
day, hour, minute, year):

5. Look at the printed error log. If needed, see Appendix C.
