Carburetor in~tallation is essentially the reo
verse of removal.
NOTE

form the following adjustments:

Carburetor pilot screw adjustment

overhauled.
PILOT SCREW ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
The pi lot screw is facTory
pre~el.
Ad·
justment is no t necessary unless the
carburetor is overha uled or a new pi lot
screw installed.
CAUTION'
Damage 10 the pl70t $Crew seal will
occur if the pilot $Crew iJ tightened
against the seat.
Turn the pilot screw clockwise until it
seats light ly and bac k it ou t to the speci.

screw ad justment.
Warm t he engine up to operating temperature.
Stop the engine and connect a tachometer.
Start the engine and adjust the idle speed with
the thrall Ie SlOp screw.
