Appendix I BIOS Rewrite Procedures
This Appendix explains how to rewrite the system BIOS program when updating the BIOS on
the T2100 Series computer.
Tools
To rewrite the BIOS, the following tool is required:
BIOS rewrite disk for the T2100/T2100CS/T2100CT
Rewriting the BIOS
1. Set the system to Boot Mode.
2. Turn off the power to the computer.
3. Remove the external cable and optional PCMCIA card.
Turn on the power while holding down the F12 key. (Keep holding down the key

until the system speaker sounds a beep.)
5. When the BIOS message is displayed, insert the BIOS rewrite disk into the FDD.
Press the Enter key to start the BIOS rewrite program.
6. When the process is completed, eject the BIOS rewrite disk and restart the system.
