Password
This option allows you to set or reset the password for power on and instant
security.
Registered
Not registered The password has not been registered.
For details on setting the password, refer to the Password security section in the
User's Reference Manual.

Whether or not you need to configure the computer with these options depends
primarily on the kind of software or peripherals you use.

Power-up Mode
This option lets you choose between AutoResume and boot mode. You can
also set this option using hot keys. AutoResume is effective with either the
internal LCD or with an external monitor.
