(4) Type the four digit track number and press Enter. The first three digits are
the cylinder number and the last digit is the head number. This fonnats
either good tracks or bad tracks as indicated.
NOTE: This program canformat only one track per operation. Repeat the
operation as many times as necessary to format several good tracks or bad
tracks.
(5) After a track on the hard disk has been formatted the following message will
be displayed:
Format complete
(6) Press
Enter
to return to the Hard Disk Format menu.
4. Bad track check selection
(1)
When the bad track check is selected, the following message will appear:
Drive number select (1:#1,2:#2) ?
(2) Select a drive number and press
Enter.
The following message will appear.
Interleave number (1/1-8) ?
(3) Select an interleave number (usually 1) and press Enter. The following
message is displayed, and the bad tracks on the hard disk are checked.

(4) After checking the bad tracks on the hard disk the following message will
