Subtest 03 Point to Point (Send)
NOTE: To execute this subtest, two machines must be connected with an RS-
232-C direct cable. One machine should be set as 'send' (subtest 03) and the
other set as 'receive' (subtest 04). The wiring diagramfor the RS-232-C direct
cable is described in Appendix F.
This subtest sends 20h through 7Eh data to the receive side, then receives the
sent data and compares it to the original data.
Subtest 04 Point to Point (Receive)
This subtest is used with subtest 03 described above. This subtest receives the
data from the send side, then sends the received data.
Subtest 05 Card Modem Loopback (1200 BPS)
NOTE: To execute this subtest, a built-in modem must be installed.
This subtest sends data from the RS-232-C port to the built-in modem. The
same data is then sent from the modem to the RS-232-C port and compared to
the original data.
When you select the channel number of the serial port and press Enter, the
following message appears:
Baud rate select (O:llOBPS, 1:300BPS, 2:1200BPS) ?
Subtest 06 Interrupt Test IRQ 4, 3 and 5
This subtest checks the Interrupt Request Levels of IRQ 4, 3 and 5 from the
send side.
