Step 3 Test Program and Replacement Checklist
The HDD test program is stored in the T4400SXC Diagnostics Disk. Perform all of the HDD
tests in the Diagnostics Hard Disk Drive Test. If an error is detected during the HDD test, an
error code and status will be displayed; perform Check 1. The error code and status are
described in table 2-4. If an error code is not generated, the HDD is operating properly.
Refer to part 3, Test and Diagnostics for more information about the HDD test program.

Check 1 Replace the HDD unit with a new one following the instructions in part 4,
Replacing T4400SXC Field Replaceable Units. If the HDD is still not functioning
properly, perform Check 2.
