Press release button : of the luggage

holder and pull the strap out in the direction
of the arrow.
Place the load between the strap and the

cargo compartment side wall.
Using one hand, press locking button : of
X
the luggage holder.
With your other hand, let the strap go slowly
X
until the load is secured.
Make sure that locking button ? on
X
brackets A is pressed.
This keeps brackets A in place on the
loading rail.
To remove: press release button = on
X
respective bracket A and remove luggage
holder ; by pulling upwards and out.
Telescopic rod
The telescopic rod can be used to secure the
load against the rear seats to prevent it from
moving around.
To install: insert one bracket ; into both
X
the left and the right loading rails and slide
it to the desired position (
Insert telescopic rod : into brackets ;
X
and, while doing so, press release
button ? and push the rod downwards
until it engages.
Make sure that locking button = on
X
brackets ; is pressed.
This keeps brackets ; in place on the
loading rail.

Stowage well under the cargo
compartment floor
A removable insert under the trunk floor
contains the parts of the EASY-PACK load-
securing kit. The tire-change tool kit is stored
beneath this insert.

To remove: press release button ? on
respective bracket ; and remove
telescopic rod : by pulling it upwards and
out.
To open: open the tailgate.
Holding the ribbing, press handle :
downwards ;.
Handle : folds upwards.
Swing the trunk floor upwards using
handle : until it rests against the cargo
compartment cover.
Fold out hook = on the underside of the
trunk floor in the direction of the arrow.
