Logical Installation
General Folder
Use the General folder to display and reconfigure unit Setup Information. This is the first folder
displayed when beginning unit configuration.
The folder displays information that was entered using the Unit Information Setup Wizard.
Usually, no changes will need to be entered for this tab.
Use the Unit section to view and edit unit IP addressing information.
Unit
Displays the unit's name. This field cannot be edited from this folder.
To change a unit's name, exit the Edit Data configuration screen and return to the directory
window. Click the mouse cursor once on the Unit Name in the MCS Units windowpane. When
the cursor changes to a text edit cursor, make the desired changes and then click the mouse over
another section of the MCS window. The change made will be reflected in the Unit Information
Setup Wizard and the General configuration folder.
Use the Password section to view and edit unit IP addressing information.
