4.3 Install Maintenance Console Software

The MCS is shipped on CD-ROM.
System Requirements
The Maintenance Console Software is operable on an IBM
capable of IP network connection that satisfies the following requirements:
• Microsoft Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
• i486
• 64 megabytes (MB) of available RAM (regardless of the operating system).
• 24 MB of available hard-disk space.

To install the MCS:
1.
Insert the CD-ROM into your PC's CD-ROM drive.
2.
Click "Software Installer" on the initial screen.
3.
Read the End-User Licence Agreement, and then click "OK".
4.
Double-click the "Setup.EXE" icon.
5.
Follow the instructions to install the MCS.
6.
When the installation is complete, 3 icons will be created.
