Lines A consist of translation information for units connected to the voice and fax facilities of
the PBX Code 21 and the PSTN.
N 215:
N 217:
N 219:
The "I" values specify the IP addresses for each extension, fax and Public Switched Telephone
Network (PSTN) associated with the unit.
The function of the three lines described above can also be achieved using the following single
record in DNS. DAT.
N 21
N21 results in a greater number of remaining digits (R).
If the information is arranged in this manner, it will take longer to connect a call since dialling
does not start until the inter-digit time out (5 sec) has occurred after dialling the extension or a
fax number.
