Removing the Reader Unit

■ Preparation

1) Remove the Left Cover.(Refer to page 4-13)

■ Procedure

1) Remove the Grounding Wire [1].
• 1 Screw (black TP) [2]
2) Disconnect the connector [3] and the 2 Flat Cables [4].
• 1 Ferrite Core [5]
3) Remove the removed Grounding Wire [1], harness [3], and 2 Flat Cables [4] from the
Harness Guide [A].

4) Remove the Arm Shaft [1] of the Reader Unit, and lift the arm [2] of the Reader Unit.
CAUTION:
When installing the arm of the Reader Unit, be sure to insert the Arm Shaft [1] of the
Reader Unit into the Arm Shaft Rail Holder [A], and press it in the direction of the arrow.
