Step 3: Check Barcode Length

Access:
If the length of the barcode data (not counting the Code ID) is out of the specified
minimum/maximum range, the scan is rejected.
For the symbology selected from the pulldown list:
If 'All' is selected for Symbology, the Min and Max length requirements are applied to all
symbologies that have not been previously customized for the selected Code ID.

The Min textbox specifies the minimum length the barcode data must be in order to
be processed. The Code ID does not count when determining minimum length. Any
barcode scanned that is less than the number of characters specified is rejected. The
default value for this parameter is 1.
The Max textbox specifies the maximum length the barcode data can be in order to
be processed. The Code ID does not count when determining maximum length.
Any barcode scanned that is more than the number of characters specified is
rejected. The default value for this parameter is All (equivalent to 9999).
If the value entered for Max is greater than the maximum length allowed for the specified
symbology, the maximum valid length is used instead.
