A few years ago, the 35mm film Nikon N80/F80 was released
with a viewfinder grid display, and I was hooked. Later, as I
bought more professional cameras, I was chagrined to find
that they did not have the on-demand gridlines that I had
grown to love.
With the D300(S), you have not only a
display, but also
worlds! There are only two selections in
display:
On
– Gridlines are displayed in the
the
Monitor
Off
– No gridlines are displayed.
Here are the screens and steps used to enable/disable the
