Combined NEF and JPEG Shooting
(Two Images at Once)
Some shooters use the three storage modes at the beginning of
Figure 3-10, image 2, whereby the D300(S) takes two images
at the same time—NEF (RAW) + JPEG
basic. This gives you the best of both worlds in that the
camera takes a nice NEF file and a JPEG file each time you
press the Shutter-release
