Audio System
SCAN allows you to search a tape for
a desired passage. When you press
this button, the system goes into fast
forward. It goes back to PLAY when
it senses a silent period on the tape.
It stays in PLAY for eight seconds so
you can listen to that passage and
decide if you want to hear it all. If you
are not interested in that passage,
leave the system alone. After eight
seconds, it will go into fast forward
again until it senses another silent
period, then go back to PLAY.
When it gets to a passage you want to
hear, press SCAN again. The tape
plays normally after that.
