Air Cleaner Element
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
4. Remove the old air cleaner ele-
ment. Clean the inside of the air
cleaner element housing with a
clamp cloth.

5. Install the new air cleaner ele-
ment, making sure the rubber seal
fits on all four sides.
6. Reinstall the air cleaner housing
cover. Tighten the six screws.
7. Slide the air intake tube onto the
air cleaner housing cover. Tighten
the hose clamp.
8. Snap the two hoses back into their
clips on the air cleaner housing
cover.
Cleaning (Severe Conditions)
Follow the replacement procedure
for removal and reinstallation.
Clean the air cleaner element by
blowing compressed air through the
side that faces up as installed in the
car. If you do not have access to
compressed air (such as a fuel
station), ask your Acura dealer to do
this service.
