Dolby B noise reduction turns on
when you insert a cassette. If the tape
was not recorded in Dolby B noise
reduction, turn it off by pressing
button. If you play a metal or chro-
mium-dioxide (CrO ) tape, the

system automatically senses it. The
METAL indicator in the frequency
display lights.
