The firewalls at Enterprise1 are configured to permit both inbound and
outbound web sessions to and from the 8550 WSG data ports, and the
8550 WSG is configured to transform and forward web service
requests from internal client applications to use both internal and
external web services.
Note —
you can deploy one 8550 WSG internally, as shown in Figure 1-3, and
another 8550 WSG in the DMZ to handle external message traffic, as
shown in Figure 1-1.
