2 Press the Power On button once.
The 8550 WSG is placed in standby mode, and the system power
LED changes to amber.
3 If you have pressed the UID button, go to the rear of the rack and
locate the 8550 WSG by identifying the UID button LED that is lit blue
on the rear panel.
4 Disconnect the power cords from the 8550 WSG.
The 8550 WSG is now without power.

Replacing the 8550 WSG

Detach the 8550 WSG from the rails if you need to remove it from the
rack.
Caution —
•
Back up and export configuration data.
•
Export the audit logs.
•
Power down the system.
•
Remove the power cord from the 8550 WSG.
•
Disconnect all cables from the 8550 WSG.

Procedure B-2 To remove the 8550 WSG from the rails

1 Swing open the cable management arm and detach it from the rail
bracket.
2 Pull down the quick release levers on each side of the 8550 WSG.
3 Extend the server from the rack until the server rail-release latches
engage.
