8.3.9 Settings, Continued
Pre-Alarm Position – Point to the down arrow beside the field and select Not
Returned or Returned.
Alarm Buzzer – Point to the down arrow beside the field and select Enabled or
Disabled. If the alarm buzzer is enabled, a buzzer is activated upon alarm activation.
If the alarm buzzer is disabled, the buzzer is not activated upon alarm activation.
3. Click on Save to save any changes you have made.
4. Click on Send to send the revised configuration to the MaxCom Gold. Note: this
step can be done when all programming is completed using the Send Receive
Centre utility.
5. When finished programming the settings, click on the X in the upper right corner to
close the menu.

8.4 CONFIGURING CAMERAS

The MaxCom Gold is shipped with a default camera configuration for each MaxCom
type (16x1, 16x2, 8x1, 8x2). The user can edit this configuration using the software
configuration utility. The user can define the camera setup, program preset titles, define
which presets (100-127) are to be used for privacy zones, program sector titles, and
program 4 tours per available camera.

8.4.1 Camera Setup

The Camera Setup menu provides programming a camera title, defining the presence or
absence of IR lighting, enabling the Auto 180 and digital zoom features, and defining the
home position during dome idle times.
1. Access the camera setup menu. The menu can be accessed two ways:
a. Click on the down arrow beside the dome icon and then select Camera Setup.
