8.3.7 Keyboard Camera Privileges, Continued
4. Click on the desired camera to edit. For example, click on Camera 1.
There are several buttons on the bottom of the window to assist the user.
Send – After editing the fields, click on the Send button to transmit the configuration
to the MaxCom Gold.
Receive – To transmit the current configuration of the keyboard camera privileges
stored in a MaxCom Gold to the PC configuration utility, click on the receive button.
Reload – To return the screen to the default configuration or to the configuration
prior to any changes made in this editing session, press the Reload button.
Save – After editing, click on Save to save your changes.
5. Define the camera keyboard privileges as desired.
Access Allowed – Point to the down arrow beside the field and select YES or NO. If
yes is selected, the keyboard connected to the selected socket (in this case
Keyboard Socket 1) has access to the video on Camera 1. If no is selected, the
keyboard connected to the selected socket is denied access to the video on Camera
1.
Control Allowed – Point to the down arrow beside the field and select YES or NO. If
yes is selected, the keyboard connected to the selected socket (in this case
Keyboard Socket 1) can control Camera 1. If no is selected, the keyboard
connected to the selected socket is denied control of Camera 1.
Note: To edit access and control to cameras from other keyboards perform the
steps previously described after selecting the keyboard that you wish to set up.
6. Click on Save to save any changes you have made.
7. Click on Send to send the revised configuration to the MaxCom Gold. Note: this
step can be done when all programming is completed using the Send Receive
Centre utility.
8. Select another camera below the selected socket or select another socket and
expand the camera listing as described in steps 2, 3, and 4 above.
9. When finished programming the keyboard camera privileges, click on the X in the
upper right corner to close the menu.
