If a Message Appears on the Display Panel. . .

Message on Display Panel
A malfunction has been
detected. Please call your
technical rep. and provide
the following code:
Please input your Access
Code #, then press the
Access key.
To begin copying, please
insert the Key Counter into
the copier as illustrated
below:

insert the Magnetic Card into
Data Controller as illustrated
below:
The current Paper Drawer is
empty. Please reload.
Please add toner
(Instructions for adding toner
are on the inside of the front
cover).
Please replenish toner soon.
The Staple Cartridge is
empty. Please replace.
A paper misfeed has been
detected. Please remove the
misfed paper at

properly.

Cause
The copier has developed a
serious malfunction. It
cannot be used for copying.
An access number has been
stored. You must enter this
number before making
copies.
The mechanical Key Counter
is not plugged in.
A magnetic card is not
inserted into the Data
Controller.
The currently selected Tray
has run out of paper.
The Toner is used up.
The Toner will run out soon.
The staples have run out.
A paper misfeed has
occurred.

Call and inform your
Technical Representative of
the code being shown on the
Touch Panel.
Enter your 4-digit access
number and press the
Access Mode Key
Plug in the Key Counter.
Insert your magnetic card
into the Data Controller.
Add paper as necessary.
Replace the Toner Bottle.
Replace the Toner Bottle.
Replace the Staple
Cartridge.
Clear the paper misfeed, see
page 7-8.
Close the door or cover and
attach the option properly.
Call and inform your
Technical Representative of
the code being shown on the
Touch Panel.
Call your Technical
Representative.
Please remove all copies
from the Duplex Unit.
Remove all copies from the
Sorter Bins.
