Toggling Auto Exposure

Copy light and dark originals without having to continually adjust the
exposure manually. The copier automatically selects the optimal density
for the copies on the basis of the specific original.
In the Basics Menu, touch the

[Expo/Photo] box.
The display will change.
2 Touch the [Auto] box.
The box will now be marked with a
black background. The "Auto
Exposure" function is now active.
To disable "Auto Exposure", touch the [Lighter] or [Darker] boxes to
Ü
adjust the exposure manually.
Are your copies still too dark overall?
The default density for the "Auto Exposure" mode can be adjusted in
the User Settings.
