If the Tool Appears . . .
If a tool symbol appears in the lower left corner of the Touch Panel, this is
an indication that a component of the copier is no longer functioning
correctly. The following message will appear when you select a mode
affected by the malfunction:
"Following mode cannot be used. Please call your Technical Rep."
Your Technical Representative will ask you for the malfunction code on
the display. Call up the malfunction code.

Touch the tool symbol.
The display will change.
Inform your Technical

shown on the Touch Panel.

Touch the [Exit] box to return to the initial mode.
