12. During the media initialization, the media wrinkles.
Possible Cause
Are you using approved
media?
Is the hold lever down?
In case of a cut sheet, is the
edge of the media aligned
with the leading edge of the
print plate?
In case of using roll media, is
the edge of the media parallel
with the edge of the printer
during the media detection
sequence?
Is the scroller installed
correctly?
Is the driver roller clean?

Are you using the printer in

13. Can't run the media search in tracing paper or thin media.
Possible Cause
Are you using approved
media?
Are you using the printer in a
wrong environment such as in
direct sunlight?
Install the Scroller correctly.
Clean the driver rollers.
Clean the media sensor.
Use your printer in the right
environment. (No direct
sunlight)
Solution
Use only approved media.
Make sure to put the hold
lever in the DOWN position
Align the edge of the cut
sheet with the leading edge of
the print plate.
The roll media and the
baseline should be aligned.
Install the scroller correctly.
Clean the driver roller.
Clean the media sensor.
Use your printer in the right
environment.
(No direct sunlight)
Solution
Use only approved media.
Use the printer in the
approved environment.
Remove incorrect light source
or move printer.
