Maintaining
the Printer
Step 2:
If DYE ink cassettes were removed, insert the
PIGMENTED ink cassettes.
If CLEANING cassettes were removed, insert the DYE ink
cassettes.
Step 3:
Use the (Value +) and (Value -) control panel keys to
answer "Yes" (Value +) or "No" (Value -).
Step 4:
Press (Enter) on the control panel. The ink replacement
process (ink filling) begins.
After filling, the ink replacement is finished.
Important:
When working with pigmented inks, please take care to set the ink
density to Normal.
Pigmented inks are not compatible with FAINT mode nor with THIN mode
ink density settings.
If you use a RIP software from which ink density is controlled, make sure
to disable micro-dot mode when pigmented inks are being used.

Step 1
Press the [MENU] key to enter the MENU MODE operation.
Step 2
Bring up the "Utility" menu by pressing the [Menu Up !] key or the
[Menu Down "] key.
Step 3
Press the [ENTER] key to confirm the "Utility" menu and shift to the
next level.
