Using Broadcast Facility

This feature is used for easy tuning of
various pre-programmed 'broadcast'
bands (e.g. AM & FM radio stations
and TV sound).

Confirm that VFO is set.

Hold down the FUNC key and
press the key to display the
broadcast radio memory number.

Press the or
the Broadcast Facility memory
number.

Turn the dial knob to change the
frequency from preset channels.

To return to VFO, hold down the
FUNC key and press the
twice.
Tips:
• In step 3, a frequency is modified
only within the specific range. This
range is depending on each band.
• The memorised broadcast facility
frequencies are listed on page 70.

Using PRESET

12 frequencies are set as Preset
Channel. These frequencies are typical
frequencies from each band.

Confirm that VFO is set.

press the key twice to display
the Preset Number.

To change the frequency from
Preset Channel, turn the dial knob.

To return to VFO, hold down the
FUNC key and press the

• Preset Number 12 is selected from
among memory numbers 980 to
999.
• Turn the dial knob to go through
channels of preset number 12.
• Preset frequencies are listed on
page 71.
