Open Shortest Path First (OSPFv2)
seconds
Enter the number of seconds as the interval between retransmission.
Range: 1 to 3600.
Default: 5 seconds.
This interval must be greater than the expected round-trip time for a packet to travel
between two routers.

Set the time interval to a number large enough to prevent unnecessary retransmissions.
Set the estimated time elapsed to send a link state update packet on the interface.
ip ospf transmit-delay seconds
To return to the default value, use the no ip ospf transmit-delay command.

Enter the number of seconds as the transmission time. This value should be greater than the
transmission and propagation delays for the interface.
Range: 1 to 3600.
Default: 1 second.
