Grasp the black mylar tab and use it to disengage the hard drive from its
connector, and then remove the drive from its compartment.

If your new hard drive already includes the hard drive bracket, go to

Remove the screws that secure the hard drive bracket, and then detach the
drive from the bracket.

Place the bracket on the new drive and secure it with the two screws
removed in step

Slide the new hard drive into the hard drive compartment and make sure
it's properly engaged to the SATA1 connector.

Secure the new drive to the base with the screw removed in
