TN799 Control LAN (C-LAN)

The C-LAN circuit pack interface not only supports signaling for IP Telephony applications, but
also supports asynchronous links to INTUITY AUDIX, Call Management System (CMS), and
other adjuncts. This interface
Is independent of the Media Gateway.
Has no IP link back to the central administration or maintenance processes of
Communication Manager.
Successfully survives DoS attacks created by the SynFlood tools.
Maintains the IP endpoint RAS authentication sequence, a safeguard against exploiting
toll services through IP endpoints.
