Voice Mail Number Assignment †
Assigns the jack number corresponding to the voice mail port for
data transmission to the Voice Processing System. The voice mail
port is expandable to two ports.
• Jack number: 2 through 8
All jacks — Blank

Enter 117.
Display: 117 VMS PORT ASN

Press NEXT.
Display example: M:#

Enter a jack number.
To delete the current entry, press CLEAR.
To change the current entry, press CLEAR and enter the new jack
number.

Press

Repeat steps 3 through 4 to enter another jack number.
6.
Press STORE.

Press END.
• Neither Jack number 1 nor the manager extension can be assigned as a
voice mail port jack. The voice mail port jack cannot be assigned to a
manager extension.
• The jack numbers correspond to the voice mail port in numerical order.
Example: Stored jack numbers: Jacks 2, 3
Jack 2=Voice mail numbers 1, 2; Jack 3= Voice mail numbers 3, 4
