Vertical bargraph button types

This feature sets the button to a vertical bargraph or slider. New Send_Commands allow joystick
coordinates to originate from a different corner. Select VERTICAL BARGRAPH from the Button
Type menu to set the selected button to Vertical Bargraph. The button type VERTICAL
BARGRAPH and associated options appear in the Button Properties page as shown in FIG. 27.

• JOYSTICK NON-CENTER sets the button to a four-quadrant joystick with a control stick.
When you move the control stick, the touch panel sends data to the Central Controller and
to the external device to perform a pre-programmed operation. When you remove your
finger from the screen, the control stick and external device stay in that position.
• JOYSTICK CENTER sets the button to a four-quadrant joystick with a control stick located in
the center. When you move the control stick, the touch panel sends data to the Central
Controller and to the external device to perform a pre-programmed operation. When you
remove your finger from the screen, the control stick returns to the center of the button and
the external device returns to its default position.
• CROSSHAIR NON-CENTER sets the button to a four-quadrant crosshair with a control stick
located off-center. When you move the control stick, the touch panel sends data to the
Central Controller and to the external device to perform a pre-programmed operation. When
you remove your finger from the screen, the control stick and external device stay in that
position.
• CROSSHAIR CENTER sets the button to a four-quadrant cross-hair with a control stick
located in the center. When you move the control stick, the touch panel sends data to the
Central Controller and to the external device to perform a pre-programmed operation. When
you remove your finger from the screen, the control stick returns to the center of the button
and the external device returns to its default position.
BUTTON OPTIONS opens the BUTTON OPTION menu (FIG. 28) where you set the
button type. Press ABORT to close the menu and exit without saving changes.
