SETUP
Setup Page
From the Main page, press the SETUP button to open the Setup page shown in FIG. 2 on page 7.
Use the Setup and Protected Setup pages to configure how the touch panel operates. The Setup
page buttons are described below.
The WIRELESS STATUS button appears when a WAV-PK(M) / SMT-PK(M) is
attached to a touch panel and/or when a two-way wireless ViewPoint touch panel is
present.

buttons appear when your touch panel has not been pre-programmed.
BEEP sets the duration of the audible beep when the screen is touched. Set the
button to 0 to disable the beep sound. Press the
.10 second increments. The minimum beep time setting is 0 (no beep), and the maximum
is 5 (0.5 seconds).
You can set the BEEP value by using both the 'ABEEP' and 'ADBEEP'
Send_Commands. The 'QBEEP' command is used for overriding.
DISPLAY TIMER sets the length of time the touch panel can be idle before activating
screen-saver sleep mode. When the touch panel goes into screen-saver mode, the LCD is
powered-down. Press the
UP
from 1 to 240 minutes.
The
button can now be set to zero (only on the AXB-TPI/3 where the
DISPLAY TIMER
range is from 0-120). In this case, the panel never times-out and will always remain On.
SET TIME AND DATE changes the time and date settings. You are able to set the
following values by pressing the

• HOUR
• MONTH
• DISPLAY MONTH/DAY, DAY/MONTH: sets the order of the month and day display.
• Display 12:00/24:00: sets the clock display to a 12 or 24 hour format.
DOUBLE BEEP toggles the double beep
you press the screen. Set the
