Tape can't be removed.
• Make sure the power plugis completely connectedto anAC (alternatingcurrent) outlet.
The motor (cylinder) rotates even when theVCR is in Stop mode.
• To enablethe quickplay mechanism, t he cylinderwill rotate for about five minutes.Thisis normal.
The quickplay mechanismenablesthe tape mechanism to switch from Stop mode to Playmode in one
second,
There is no playback picture, or the playback picture is noisy or contains streaks.
• Make sure the "IV is on the same channelas theVCR's CH3/CH4 switch.Detailsare on pages6 - 9.
• Make sure theVCR is in VCR position.Detailsare on pages20, 22, and 23.
• Make sure channel3 or 4 is properly adjustedat theT_.

Multi-Channel Television Sound System (VRZ364 only)
• You can only receive and record in stereo or secondaudio programsthat are broadcastin stereo or sec-
ond audio.Youcan only playin stereo or secondaudio tapesthat were recorded in stereo or second
audio.Detailsareon pages44 - 46.
• If you selectsecondaudio when secondaudio is not available, t heVCR will record normal audio.
• When you program yourVCR to record in stereo, broadcasts are recorded in Hi-Fi stereo.
• You will only get stereo sound if you use audio cablesto connectthe AUDIO OUT Jacks on theVCR to
the AUDIO IN Jacks on your T_.The TV must be in LineInput mode. Seeyour'IV owner's manualfor
details.
• When you connectthe AUDIO OUT Jackson yourVCR to the AUDIO IN lacks on your'l'V, the stereo
light on the'IV mightnot glow.Thisis normal. If the VCR indicatesyou are receiving a stereo broadcast,
you are. (STEREO will appear in the statusdisplay.)
TheVCR ejects the tape when the REC(ord)/OTR button is pressed or when theVCR power is
turned off to set a timer recording.
