If a programis recorded in SP and there is not enoughtape to
record the entire program,theVCR automaticallyswitches to SIP
to allow complete recording ifTIMER REC SPEEDis set to AUTO.
Thisfeature is especially usefulwhen you record a programthat is
more than two hours Ion_
For example,to record a programof 140 minutesin lengthonto a
120-minutetape,the program is recordedin SPfor about 110
minutes and in SIP for about 30 minutes.
