VCR I will playyour tape. Insert a prerecorded tape inVCR
I. If the tape does not havea record tab, playbackbegins. I f this
happens, p ressthe STOP/EJECTbutton onVCR I once.

VCR 2 will record your tape. Insert a blank tape inVCR 2.
Make sure theVCR power is on and theVCR is inVCR
position. (TheVCR light will appearon the displaypanel.If it does
not, presstheVCRJTV button once.)

Turn on the TV; set_!t to channel 3 or 4, whicheverchannel
the CH3/CH4 switch onVCR 2 is set to.

Point the remote control atVCR 2. Press theVCR button,
then press the Number buttons O,0. L-I will appearon the
displaypanel.

Point the remote control atVCR 2. Press the SPEED but-
ton to select SP or SLP.

Press the PLAY button onVCR I and the REC(ord)/O'rR
button onVCR 2 at the same time. The O light will appear
on theVCR 2 display panel.

STOP/ElECT buttononVCR2, then
pressthe STOPIEJECT buttonon
VCR I.
If you connectthe audio and video
cablesto theAUDIO/VIDEOIn jacks
on the frontof VCR2,you must
selectAIV IN FRONTat step 4. To
do so,pressNumber buttons 0,0,
then press the CH(annel)• button
sothat A/V IN FRONTappearson-
screenand L-Fappearson the dis-
play panel.
