Automatic Playback
When you put a tape in theVCR, thepower will come on auto-
matically. I f the tape's record tab is missing_ playback will begin_
Automatic Rewind
When a tape is played, f ast forwarded, or recorded to its end,the
VCR will rewind the tape to the beginning, then stop.
Memory Rewind, Power Off
_Nhen the POWER button is pressedwhile theVCR is rewinding a
tape, P, E VVli_ID-_POVVEP, OFF will appearon screen.When the
tape hasfinishedrewinding, theVCP, will stop.then turn itself off.
Tape Eject
A tape can be ejected with theVCP- power on or off (but theVCP,
must be pluggedin).
If a timer recording is programmed,the _) and CassetteInside
lightswill flash on theVCR's displaypanelwhen you eject a tape
with theVCR power turned off.
Counter Reset
The counter will automaticallyreset to 0:00:00 when you insert a
Cassette.
To reset the counter to 0:00:00 at anytime,pressthe CLEAR but-
ton on the remote control.
Automatic Tracking Adjustment
TheVCR continuallyadjuststracking to give you the best possible
picture quality._/ith some recordings, however, y ou mayget a bet-
ter picture by adjustingthe trackingmanually(see below).

• Pressthe CHANNELJk/Y buttons on the VCR to remove jitter in a
s_llpicture.
• Youcan return toAutomaticTracking A djUstment bypressingthe
CHANNEL4,IV buttons on the VCR at the same time.
• The CHANNELA/V buttons on the VCR alsoadjusttrackingdur-,
ingnormaltape pkiybacl_
• TheVCRreturns toAut_maticTrackingAdjustment whenever a tape is
inserted.
