Power Supply in J-EX4200 Switches

The management port on J-EX4200 switches has two LEDs that indicate link/activity
and port status (see Figure 10 on page 21). The management port is set to full-duplex
and the speed is set to 100 Mbps.

Table 11 on page 21 describes the Link/Activity LED.
State and Description
Blinking—The port and the link are active, and there is link activity.
On steadily—The port and the link are active, but there is no link activity.
Off—The port is not active.
Table 12 on page 21 describes the Status LED (administrative status).
State and Description
On steadily—Administrative status is enabled.
Off—Administrative status is disabled.

The power supply in J-EX4200 switches (see Figure 11 on page 22 and Figure 12 on page 22)
is a hot-removable and hot-insertable field-replaceable unit (FRU) that you can install
on the rear panel without powering off the switch or disrupting the switching function.
J-EX4200 switches have an internal redundant power supply, making the power supply
in J-EX4200 switches fully redundant.
