1.4.7 Bi Resolution Improvement Technology
The EPL-9000 printers have BiRITech (Bi Resolution Improvement Technology), which is designed
to improve print quality at 600 dpi and 300 dpi. By this method, the dot map data extracted from
the image data is reassembled to improve print data.

When the toner density of area A is almost the same as that of area B (as shown m the figure
below), the RITech setting is at its optimum setting. In other words, the optimum setting is
achieved when it is difficult to distinguish the shape of area A from that of B.
