MAIN Board
1.5.1 C135
The MAIN board is a video controller board. The primary functions of this board are
receiving print data from the host, generating the print image (video), and sending the print image
to the engine controller via the video interface. A 32-bit 19.2 MHz RISC CPU MB86930 (SPARKlite)
(location: ICI) is used, and the following memory chips and custom ICS are assigned to the 4 GB
memory space.
Code ROM: four 4M-bit EP-ROM (IC5, 6,14, 13) or two 8M-bit mask ROM (IC16, 15)
Font ROM: two 8M-bit mask ROM (M80A76: IC30, M80A77: IC29)
16K-bit EEPROM (IC8)
Custom ICS
