5.2.3 Updating SLES 8

The actual version of the SLRS 8 is based on the SLES/UL Service Pack 3
and needs to be updated with the United Linux Service Pack 3 CD1 from the
SLRS 7-CD Set.
To initiate the update, insert the Service Pack CD into the CD drive of the
branch server, mount the CD and call the install_update_rpms.sh script, as
described below:
mount /media/cdrom
Execute: /media/cdrom/install_update_rpms.sh
umount /media/cdrom
Eject the Service Pack CD.
Note: The install scripts for updating RPMs are hard-coded to use /media/cdrom.
If your CD-ROM drive uses a different name to mount (such as /media/cdrecorder),
enter the following commands to create a link to the CD:
cd /media
ln -s cdrecorder cdrom
After installing the Service Pack CD you should reboot the branch server.
