Use the table below as a guide to check possible solutions to problems
you may encounter when using the Kodak s1220 Photo Scanning
System.
Description
Verify that there is a valid Target_Path for the scanned
photos in the PrintScan.ini file.
Run as Administrator or have the administrator give
limited rights users permission to burn CD/DVDs. Refer
to Chapter 7, Application Configuration.
Verify that the s1220 Scanner is attached, turned on and
the green LED is on and steady. If the error persists,
contact Kodak Service.
Verify that the flatbed is attached properly to the s1220
Scanner. If the error persists, contact Kodak Service.
Contact Kodak Service.
If the problem persists, contact Kodak Service.
Verify that a valid PrintScan.ini file exists. Reinstall the
Kodak s1220 Photo Scanning System. Refer to Chapter
2, Installation.
Verify that a valid s1220.Profile file exists. Reinstall the
Kodak s1220 Photo Scanning System. Refer to Chapter
2, Installation.
The s1220 Photo Scanning System software does not
support the i1220 Plus Scanner drivers. Do not install
those drivers for the s1220 Photo Scanning System. To
re-install the s1220 Photo Scanner drivers, turn off the
s1220 Photo Scanner and run the SetupFW_i1200_
v2.23.exe from the i1220 folder on the KODAK s1220
Photo Scanning System Software CD. Reboot the PC
then power on the s1220 Photo Scanner. This will re-
install the correct version of the s1220 Photo Scanner
drivers.
If the problem persists, contact Kodak Service.
Verify that the supplied s1220 USB software dongle is
plugged into a USB 2.0 port on the PC.
